Selling Annuity Payments

One of our close friend was recently in a financial difficulty due to his gambling debt. Fortunately for him, he managed to settle quite a huge sum of money owed to his relatives by selling his annuity payments to a structured settlement and annuity factoring consultant firm called StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com.

I was quite unaware of how the process of selling annuity payments work so I made a visit to the above website to read up on the topic. StructuredSettlement-Quotes (SSQ) will provide those interested in selling their annuity payments with four quotes and bids for their annuity payments. This guarantees that their clients will have the best offer for their periodic payments. SSQ claims that there is not a single company that can match their consistent low discount rates.

There are several cash payment plans offered such as:
1. Full Payment
2. Partial Payment
3. Shared Payment
4. Deferred Payment plans

The purpose of these different payment plans is to help secure a financial future, with some fixed income so that clients can keep a part of their existing annuity payments.

If you are like me, am new to this and is interested in more information, you can click here to get the details. Alternatively, if you have any questions you can contact SSQ at 888-665-1257.

Malaysians Can Withdraw Via Paypal

Hey all you paid posties out there, I've stumbled upon Hongkiat's very detailed write up on "How Malaysians Can Withdraw Directly From Paypal". This is truly a great news for peeps like me but do note that I have yet to try it out. However, Hongkiat and Msau are two living proof of those who have successfuly withdrawn their paypal money via this avenue.

I have looked through the many charges involved from application of the VMI card to withdrawal of money and noted that it is worth it compared to wire transfer from US. Of course, there is a risk involved here so do consider wisely before you sign up for the VMI card. I, of course, have made up my mind to take the risk. So, will keep you guys posted once I get my $$$.

Get Quality Traffic To Your Site

For those who are obssessed with Page Rank, you'll know that driving traffic to your site is important. However, do note that it is not advisable to use low quality methods of traffic acquisition. These types of traffic will return next to nothing so, I'd highly recommend getting quality traffic supply via contextual advertising.

Contextual advertising is the new rage now as it has many benefits such as to obtain high quality web traffic, increase website's sales and leads, help raise search engine rankings, improve a site's Alexa traffic ranking and also grow backlinks to a website. Personally, if I could afford it, I would also go for context ads as I find it a better option than Pay Per Click.

Thank You Dear

You can call my hubby paranoid but he is always updating me with his investment in death insurance. Sometimes, I do get fearful when he talks to me about these things but at the same time, I am thankful that he is always thinking and planning for us, his family. At least I know that should one fine day he kicks the bucket before I do *touch wood*, I do not have to toil like a horse to bring up the kids. Instead, I can fully concentrate on caring and loving my kids. So, my dear, as much as I want to avoid talking about such issues, I also want to let you know that I do appreciate your thoughtfulness...

How To Check Tyre's Expiry Date

At one point in my career, I oversee my company's fleet management for Sarawak region and I am ashame to say I was not even aware of how to check a tyre's expiry date. Lol. So, I thought this is a piece of good article to learn from.

There is a 4-year expiry (from the year of manufacture). Thereafter, the tyre may burst whilst in use.

How to find out whether your tyre has expired?Check for this sign: ( *2603* )

There is an asterisk at the beginning and at the end of this serial number. The first two numbers 2 6 will tell which week of the year has it been manufactured.NB: One year has 52 weeks. The last two numbers represent the year of make. Therefore, *2603* shows that the said tyre is manufactured in the 26th week of the year 2003.

Check all your tyres for safety purposes. Do not use expired tyres. They are likely to burst (especially when running in hot weather)because the rubber component may have hardened and cracked.

Soya - An Article for Females

To Soya/Tofu lovers,

ONE WOMAN'S STORY ON SOYA...It may save their lives! Something to take note of.

This is my true story, nothing altered. These are facts, as they relate to my experience, my opinions based on what I have read and felt. I am relating them to warn other young health-conscious women who are unwittingly harming themselves.

In 1989, I graduated from high school in Texas and couldn't wait to hit the big college city. One of the changes I wanted to make was to eat healthier.Once I moved to health-conscious Austin, Texas, I began to fortify my body with the best and healthiest foods I could find.

Tofu was the main ingredient in every healthy dish and I bought soya milk almost every day used it for everything from cereal to smoothies or just todrink for a quick snack. I bought soya muffins, miso soup with tofu, soybeans, soybean, sprouts, etc. All the literature in all the health and fitness magazines said that soya protected you against everything from heartdisease to breast cancer. It was the magical isoflavones, the estrogen-like hormones that all worked to help you stay young and healthy. I looked great, I was working out all the time, but my menstrual cycle was off.

At 20, I started taking birth control pills to regulate my menstrual cycle. In addition to this I began to suffer from painful periods. I began to get puffy, it was as though I was losing my muscle tone. I began to suffer fromdepression and getting hot flashes. I mistook all this for PMS since my periods were irregular. By the time I was 25, my periods were so bad, I couldn't walk. The birth control pills never made them regular or lesspainful so I decided to stop taking them.I went on like this for another two years until I realized my pain wasn't normal.

At 27, my gynecologist found two cysts in my uterus. Both were the size of tennis balls. I went through surgery to have them removed and thankGod they were benign. The gynecologist told me to go back on birth control pills. I didn't. In 1998, he discovered a lump in my breast. Again, I went through surgery and again it was benign. In November 2000 my glands swelled up and my gums became inflamed. Thinking I had a tooth infection I went to the dentist who told me that teeth were not the problem. After a dose of antibiotics the swelling still did not go down. At this point I could feel a tiny nodule on the right side of my neck. I told my mother I had thyroid trouble. She thought I was being silly. No one in the family suffered from thyroid trouble. Going on a hunch I saw a specialist who diagnosed me with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. After a series of test she told me it was cancer.

My fiance and I sat stunned. We were not prepared and I was so scared. We scheduled surgery right away. The specialist told us that it would only be after the operation that apathologist would be able to tell us for sure if it was cancer. They found a tumor at my right lobe composed of irregular cells and another smaller tumor growing on the left, so the entire thyroid was removed. They told me thatafter undergoing radioactive iodine I would be safe and assured me that I could live a long life.

After treatment I began to search for the cause of all these problems. I never once thought it could be all the soya I had consumed for nearly tenyears. After all, soya is healthy. I came upon a web page that linkedthyroid problems to soya intake and the conspiracy of soya marketed as a health food when in fact it is only a toxic by-product of the vegetable oilindustry. This was insane, after all, the health and fitness magazines had said nothing about soya being harmful.

I visited a herbalist who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 1985. She informed me that soya was the culprit. She had a hysterectomy due to cysts and other uterine problems. A few months later another acquaintance who had consumed soya came down with thyroid cancer. A girl in England I met through the Internet in a thyroid cancer forum had just undergone surgery and she was only 19.

What was going on? Breast cancer is linked to estrogen. What mimics estrogen in the female body, SOYA! But I never suspected soya because until now I never once found a single article that stated soya could be dangerous. Women who took soya prior to thyroid problems will continue to take it after if they are not aware of what soya actually does, what it contains and how it reacts in the female body. I think this is the reason that women with thyroid cancer often develop breast cancer later. My co-worker is big into soya and I see her losing hair and gaining weight despite a walking workout during her break and after work, and apples andoranges for lunch. She just had cysts removed from her uterus too. I warned her to stay off soya. I referred her to websites but until it is on the evening news on all four networks, women will suffer. Since the thyroidectomy, I do not touch soya, haven't for two years.

Dear readers,

Please use my story in any way you can. There are so many young girls whoare consuming soya because they think they are taking care of themselves, and women taking soya because they want to be healthy. It is so unfair that the information about the dangers of soya isn't more widely circulated. Itis sad. There are many out there who feel this way and it is a terrible blow whenyou realize you are not as healthy as you thought and that the information that you depended on was wrong.

Handbags - A Potential Health Risk

To all you ladies out there, this is good to know...

I never gave it a thought. Who would have thought?

Have you ever noticed gals who sit their handbags on public toilet floors - then go directly to their dining tables and set it on the table? Happens a lot! It's not always the 'restaurant food' that causes stomach distress. Sometimes "what you don't know 'will' hurt you"!

Read on...

Mum got so upset when guests came in the door and plopped their handbags down on the counter where she was cooking or setting up food. She always said that handbags are really dirty, because of where they have been. Smart Mum!!!

It's something just about every woman carries with them. While we may know what's inside our handbags, do you have any idea what's on the outside?

Shauna Lake put handbags to the test - for bacteria - with surprising results. You may think twice about where you put your handbag.Women carry handbags everywhere; from the office to public toilets to the floor of the car. Most women won't be caught without their handbags, but did you ever stop to think about where your handbag goes during the day? "I drive a school bus, so my handbag has been on the floor of the bus alot," says one woman. "On the floor of my car, and in toilets." "I put my handbag in grocery shopping carts, on the floor of the toilet while changing a nappy," says another woman "and of course in my home whichshould be clean."We decided to find out if handbags harbour a lot of bacteria. We learned how to test them at Nelson Laboratories in Salt Lake, and then we set out to test the average woman's handbag. Most women told us they didn't stop to think about what was on the bottomof their handbag. Most said at home they usually set their handbags on top of kitchen tables and counters where food is prepared. Most of the ladies we talked to told us they wouldn't be surprised if theirhandbags were at least a little bit dirty. It turns out handbags are sosurprisingly dirty, even the microbiologist who tested them was shocked.

Microbiologist Amy Karen of Nelson Labs says nearly all of the hand bags tested were not only high in bacteria, but high in harmful kinds of bacteria. Pseudomonas can cause eye infections, staphylococcus aurous can cause serious skin infections, and salmonella and e-coli found on the handbags could make people very sick.In one sampling, four of five handbags tested positive for salmonella, and that's not the worst of it. "There is fecal contamination on the handbags," says Amy. Leather or vinyl handbags tended to be cleaner than cloth handbags, and lifestyle seemed to play a role.People with kids tended to have dirtier handbags than those without, withone exception. The handbag of one single woman who frequented nightclubs had one of theworst contaminations of all."Some type of feces, or possibly vomit" says Amy.

So the moral of this story - your handbag won't kill you, but it does have the potential to make you very sick if you keep it on places where you eat.

Use hooks to hang your handbag at home and in toilets, and don't put it on your desk, a restaurant table, or on your kitchen countertop. Experts say you should think of your handbag the same way you would a pairof shoes. "If you think about putting a pair of shoes onto your countertops, that's the same thing you're doing when you put your handbag on the countertops" - your handbag has gone where individuals before you have sneezed, coughed, spat, urinated, emptied bowels, etc! Do you really want to bring that home with you? The microbiologists at Nelson also said cleaning a handbag will help. Do you really want to bring that home with you? The microbiologists at Nelson also said cleaning a handbag will help.Wash cloth handbags and use leather cleaner to clean the bottom of leather handbags.
