Obviously, someone up there must like this guy very much. Ryan Seacrest of "American Idol" is set to host next month's primetime Emmy Awards. It seems that Seacrest appeals to the younger generation and thus, explains why he was tapped for the ceremony. Personally, I am not a big fan and only noticed him on American Idol.
