Tatum O'Neal Busted

Remember Tatum O'Neal, the daughter of Ryan O'Neal who at ten years old became the youngest ever actor to win an Acadamy Award. If you don't, I'm sorry but you can't buy memory . Anyway, as with most child stars, they grow up to be adults with serious problem - I did say MOST, not all!

Tatum, it seems, was busted by New York Police buying crack cocaine a few blocks from her flat on Upper East Side. When O’Neal was approached by officers, she said to them “Do you know who I am?” In a desperate attempt to get out of the situation, Tatum even told the police that she was researching for a role she was playing.

I do symphatize with her since the former wife of John McEnroe grew up with parents who were hardly good role models. Her mother Joanna Moore was an alcoholic, who was also hooked on amphetamines. Her father Ryan, on the other hand, also had a run in with police last year. With all the fame and money thrown at her at such a young age, it all spelt TROUBLE. Sad, isn't it?
