Jane Wyman, an Academy Award, Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actress has died at the age of 93. Also popularly known for being Ronald Reagan's first wife, she divorced him in 1948.
Wyman died at her home in Palm Springs, California, having been in declining health for several years, business manager Michael Mesnick said in a statement.
Wyman began a television career in the 1950s, hosting the drama series "The Jane Wyman Theater." She became best known to a later generation of viewers as the evil Angela Channing in the prime time soap opera "Falcon Crest" which was highly popular in the 1980s.
