- Lack of sleep. Why leh?
- Last night got visitors. Who leh?
- Some freaking sicko tried to break into our house. WHAT???!!!
It was around 2.30am and hubby being the light sleeper heard a car stopping nearby. Fyi, this is not the first time. There was once a year ago when my car was almost broken into but the sound of the broken car window woke us up. Sorry, I'm digressing....
From our bedroom window upstairs, hubby observed the visitor who came in a Kelisa and even saw the car plate number. One fella came out from the back and was walking towards our gate, carrying something that looked like a tool. I guess he was probably gonna use that to break into our car. Before he could get nearer, hubby made some noise to shoo the guy and I think he can see my hubby standing at the window. So, he turned back and walked slowly back to the car. The nerve of the sicko!!! No indication of fear at all as he took his time.
Hubby only woke me up after they had gone and both of us could not sleep after that. No, we did not call the police as we are confident they will not be nearby after we spotted them. We also do not feel it is any good to make a police report even though we have the car plate number. For all you know, it's a fake one. Knowing how our blue uniform personnel in our country work, it's a waste of effort. Hai....can only harap ourselves...

actually, making that police report is a good idea. u could be helping them out on other similar cases. who knows, them burglars might be stoopit enough to use actual plate numbers.

If I were your hubby, I would've called the police instead of shoo-ing them again. Who knows..they might come back again. Aiyer..you better launch a police report lor..and have them ronda your street.

Nana - We actually asked a friend CID and she said reportlah but whether the CID will investigate the report, cannot promise. So, you see...
Mott - Ya, the hubs is a light sleeper. Me? I was snoring like a pig :D
Vien - Actually, I left that part out. He did make two calls to the police patrol. No.1 no one answered. 2nd try, they asked us to make police report :P
We heard noises on our roof on Monday night too...
And did you know we got broken in last year where that idiot actually burns holes on our roof??? Using lighther sumore!
