American Idol Season 8 The Unbelievable Update

I find it hard to believe that poor Leneshe is cut from this round while drama queen Tatiana or Mr.Joker above got through the next round. One or more of the judges must have lost their screws somewhere. Sheesh! Truly disappointing....

On a separate note, I also discovered some fascinating news - apparently each season, Paula Abdul doesn't let any American Idol contestant, winner or loser, leave empty-handed. She designs and distributes jewelry for the aspiring singers as a keepsake of their experience. Awwww....isn't that sweet?

American Idol Season 8 Audition Starts

I'm a HUGE American Idol fan and one the the reason I heart AI so much is because the auditions are really hilarious. I don't mean to be cruel but frankly speaking, some of those aspiring singers really and I MEANT REALLLLLLLY don't know what singing is all about. They croak, scream, screech, you name it.....they do it :P

Anyway, I'm definitely sticking with AI this season and see who will make the finals. Here's one of my errrr...."favourite" who went for the audition. One things for sure, after looking at him, I'm not going to complain when I have a bad hair day!

Idol Gives Back

Ok, I did not blog about last week's performance because of I was sick with food poisoning and missed part of the show. This week's Top 6 was a class of its' own type of performance. One can roughly gauge who were gonna get kicked out in this round.

It was no surprise Chris got the boot but I thought Phil actually did better than Blake. As for the ladies, it was definitely expected of them to remain on top. That said, next week's performance will be tougher and more interesting to watch. Stay tuned!

Woot! Sanjaya Malakar Is Out

This is one of the greatest news for American Idol Season 6. Finally, the horrific hair clown is voted off the show. What a relief! But I'm sure his teenybopper fans must be crying their hearts out by now.

I've gotta give him credit for being able to stand on the stage week after week with his plastered grin and receive snide remarks like "Horrendous" from Simon Cowell.
