Michael Jackson Dies At Age 50

I grew up listening to legendary pop star Michael Jackson's songs such as Thriller, Beat It and Black or White. I didn't quite identify with his wacky character and sense of style but I loved his songs. It's a shame that Micheal Jackson had passed away at the age of 50 only. According to news media, he had apparently died from cardiac arrest.

The Los Angeles Times, reported that Jackson was dead after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles around 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. TMZ also reported that emergency workers were unable to revive the singer.

My condolence goes out to the family of the the late Michael Jackson, a pop icon who will always have a place in the hearts of millions of his fans.

Morgan Freeman's Affair With Step Granddaughter

The cyberspace has been filled with news of 72-year-old actor, Morgan Freeman, having a long time affair with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter. According to many entertainment sites, an unnamed source revealed details behind the actor 's divorce from his wife of 25 years. It was also alleged that the affair began when the young lady was in her teens.

E'Dena Hines is actually the granddaughter of Freeman's first wife and though technically, this was not an incest, it sure has tarnished Mr.Nice Guy Freeman's reputation. Blearrrgh.

David Carradine Death Photo

Following the shocking death of 72 year old actor David Carradine in a hotel in Bangkok, his distraught family is dealt another upsetting blow when a Thai tabloid published explicit photos taken of the actor's body hanging naked in a hotel closet. What was more shocking was the fact that Carradine’s genitals were also tied!

To be frank, I've not seen the photo myself and neither am I interested to see them. Just in case any of you are thinking of publishing these photo, I sincerely hope that you rethink your decision. The family of the late Carradine deserves some respect and privacy. They have also threatened to sue anyone who publishes these photo.

"The family is outraged about the release of these photos," said attorney Mark Geragos, who represents Keith Carradine, the actor's brother.

Farewell Anoop and Lil Rounds

It was a very much expected elimination. While I heart Anoop, he has been in the bottom three for the last couple of weeks. As for Lil Rounds, she's lucky she got this far.

Susan Boyle Cry Me A River Video

Like everyone else who watched 47 year old Susan Boyle's performance on Britain's Got Talent, I was totally knocked off my socks! Her rendition of Les Miserables' I Dreamed A Dream received a standing ovation from the audience as well as the judges.

What makes Susan Boyle an instant overnight success was the fact that she was not the typical "package" that reality TV shows like "American Idol" looks for. In fact, the world have labelled her as an "ugly" woman with an impeccable voice. When I watched the video, I was actually horrified that the audience as well as judge Simon Cowell snickered and rolled their eyes at her. But what a surprise it was to all those who were quick to judge!

This is definitely a wake up call for us all! Susan Boyle represented those who were overlooked, missed their calling, had talent that never got appreciated, had a life without opportunities - a true inspiration to all of us.

I could not embed her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" but I hope you'll enjoy her rendition of "Cry Me A River" just as much.
