Movie Watch : WALL-E

Wall-E is written and directed by Academy Award winning writer-director Andrew Stanton. The main character in this animated movie is WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth) who spends his days tidying and compacting rubbish left by man and at times collecting small trinkets which interest him. Wall-E's life changes when he discovered a search robot called EVE Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator)( and fell in love with her. Awwww.....and together, both robots fought (sort of) to save the Human Race.

Verdict : This was the first movie that my kids watched in a cinema but I felt that it was not the best pick. Finding Nemo or Meet The Robinsons would have been my better choice. Having said that, it is impossible for anyone to not love Wall-E's sheer charm. The morale of the story was there but the message on eco-warning may take some explanation for the younger children to understand. Overall, I'd give it a 6.5 over 10.
