Jason Rae, the 31 year old saxophonist husband of soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, was found dead last Saturday in a London flat of a suspected drug overdose. Another case of "too late for drug rehabilitation".
According to British media reports, police have arrested an unidentified 32 year old man for allegedly supplying controlled substances but was subsequently released on bail pending further inquiries. On Saturday night, a postmortem examination was performed. However, the results were inconclusive and the police are waiting for the results of toxicology tests, a police spokesman said.
The Grammy winner songstress met Jason Rae while she was working as a hat check girl at a local jazz club. The two fell in love and eventually tied the knot in 2001 when she was only 22 years old.
