Nah! It's not for a stunt on the Hannah Montana show. The rumour was spreading like wildfire and started from a video posted on You Tube. The clip apparently captured 15 year old Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana onstage at a recent gig on her Best of Both Worlds Tour doing a switch with a body double. The double was dressed like Hannah in the same pink trench coat but her face was obscured by her long blond hair.
Cyrus' publicist confirmed on Friday that not only was the video legit, but that the body double is actually being used throughout the tour.
"To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of 'We Got the Party' incorporating a body double for Miley," according to statement from the public relations firm PMK, which represents Miley.
I do not see anything worth creating chaos over but it seems some of her fans are calling her a fake. Ah well....you can't please everyone, can you?
