Shocking news hot from the oven! 40 years old WWE wrestling star Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy and their 7-year-old son, Daniel, were found dead in their suburban Atlanta home on Monday. The sudden news comes as a shock to the millions of professional wrestling fans who have been following the “Crippler’s” long career.
The deaths are being investigated as a possible suicide and double homicide, authorities told ABC News. Investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and son, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. Benoit was a former world heavyweight and Intercontinental champion. He also held several tag-team titles during his career.
