Pondans Are Nice

This is not a joke. I honestly have the impression that he/she or shim or pondans, whatever you call them are a nice lot of people. Well, at least the majority that I've met are nice outwardly. Perhaps the fact that society shuns them or pokes fun at them made them more determine to give a better impression to people as far as personality is concern.

I've met several of them through out my life but can remember two particular ones. One was working with the developer who built our house. He/she was the site supervisor in charge of warranty. I found this person to be more friendly and flexible than the rest of the MALE supervisors.

The other person was working as a supervisor with a Japanese restaurant. He/she was extremely friendly and many of the restaurant's customers like her/him as his/her service was impeccable. My mom and I frequent this Japanese restaurant and we noticed his/her absence for quite some time. Later, we found out that he/she was cruelly murdered in one of local parks. One of the resturant's frequent customer even cried. It was a sad ending for a nice person.

Bottom line is I do enjoy the company of these people as they are unique in their own way. They have the ability to laugh at themselves especially when you see them performing. Perhaps society should give them a chance at this world, just my 2 cents.
