This was a busy year even though we did not "Open House" like last year. Well, it was not as "bad" as last year but we were kept on our feet most of the time anyway.
The first two days were spent visiting close relatives and yesterday, we stayed home the whole day. However, guests kept on pouring in but luckily, not in a huge group. They came in a continuous flow, so it was not too havoc. But at the end of the day, I was totally beat. The last couple of nights, I only went to bed around 2.00am!
Well, after so much effort, Chinese New Year came and went (almost!). Sometimes, I really do wonder why we took sooooo much trouble to do everything before CNY. Perhaps it's tradition, perhaps it's an excuse to get things done, whatever it is....I admit I do enjoy building up the atmosphere for CNY.
