I've noticed that some bloggers never reply to comments on their post. Perhaps it is because they are too busy or perhaps they just simply feel that it is unnecessary to reply.
So far, I've tried my best to reply to all the comments on my post as I feel that it is kinda rude not to answer people when they talk to you. It's sorta like that to me anyway, commenting is like talking to someone. However, it does take up a lot of time when you have many comments. I'm not sure what the norm is in the blogsphere but I've noted a majority of bloggers have replied to comments. On the other hand, there are those that only reply to certain remarks.
I guess to each his own, as it is your own blog after all. As long as there are readers coming back, they are interested in what you are writing, comments or not.

Yeah, sometimes very lazy to reply also... hehehehe but I will reply most of the time if have time... but hor, will that person go back and read the replies ah??? I always wonder leh
