Today's news of a disaster extracted via Channel News Asia:
MEDAN, Indonesia : A Boeing 737-200 jetliner crashed Monday into a densely populated suburb of the Indonesian city of Medan moments after take-off and burst into flames, killing at least 143 people. The Mandala Airlines jet bound for Jakarta slammed into buildings just outside the perimeter of Medan's Polonia airport early in the morning, killing 104 of its 117 passengers and crew and 39 people on the ground.
The above is one of the reason I hate reading news. It is just the start of 2007 and we already have a disaster to mark the beginning of the year.
Let us just be thankful for having our love ones with us and say a little prayer for the victims of the crashed plane and their families.
